Lewis is committed to creating lasting improvements for local areas and the people who live there. At Urban Foresight, he plays an active role in range of social research and economic development projects, using strong collaboration and robust evidence to help clients develop innovative place-based strategies for more inclusive, sustainable and forward-looking communities.

During his psychology degree at Newcastle University, Lewis developed a strong interest in how people and systems interact together.  His research roles across multiple academic fields deepened his understanding of how theory and practice shape policy, which inspired his commitment to multidisciplinary collaboration.

Professionally, he has delivered social research and evaluation projects across areas such as community development, public health and the environment. His work has frequently connected on-the-ground engagement with data-driven analysis to generate insights for the public, private and third sector organisations.
