Eamon is an economic research consultant, with over two years experience conducting economic research, impact assessments and evaluations, and workforce modelling at his time at Urban Foresight. Prior to joining Urban Foresight, he worked at the International Blockchain Monetary Reserve, using blockchain to drive sustainable asset creation and community-led local development in the Philippines.
Eamon is a trained economist, combining his technical expertise with experience in conducting qualitative and quantitative research to present clear insights and recommendations to empower clients to make decisions that enable sustainable local development.
At Urban Foresight, Eamon has used his deep understanding of the links between policy and the economic environment to develop solutions for workforce challenges such as the access to skills and education to enable sustainable development of both urban and rural economies. He has contributed extensively across Urban Foresight’s skills and workforce-related work, particularly in green, entrepreneurial, and foundational skills development.
Eamon is a BSc Economics graduate from UCL and holds an MSc in Economics from Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam with a specialisation in Development. His Master’s thesis investigated how much local context matters when reforming service provision in rural areas using monitoring and accountability interventions using natural experiments in Indonesia and India.
