Unlocking the Potential of the Creative, Digital and Tech Sectors
Urban Foresight has been awarded a contract to provide expert support for a ยฃ3 million project to boost regional economic growth in North East England.
Creative Fuse North East, a partnership made up of five regional universities, is exploring how Creative, Digital and IT (CDIT) firms complement and add value to each other. The project has invested over ยฃ3 million into activities to share best practice and encourage the adoption of new innovative working practices.
Urban Foresightโs 12-month commission involves providing expert marketing and communications support, as well as identifying and connecting with key stakeholders in the CDIT sectors. This includes collecting precise data and developing a sectoral CRM database that will support the project delivery, and legacy.
โThe CDIT sector is one of four smart specialisation sectors included in the North Eastโs strategic economic planโ explained Rebecca Prescott, Senior Consultant at Urban Foresight and Project Lead. โOur aim is to improve the reach and engagement of the Creative Fuse project, inspiring and delivering key messages to North East SMEs and supporting the growth of the sector.โ
